Car recovery in Merton
Breakdown, accident and non-runner recovery for cars across Merton, from Wimbledon and Mitcham to Morden and Colliers Wood. Every car goes on a flatbed, at a price agreed on the phone before we set off.
Recovering cars in Merton
Every summer, the Wimbledon Championships change Merton’s roads: extra traffic, parking suspensions and road closures around the All England Club and Wimbledon Park. If your car breaks down nearby during the fortnight, tell us when you call so we can plan a way in, and a place to load, that the closures don’t block.
The rest of the year, we recover cars along the A24 through Colliers Wood and Morden, the A3 at Raynes Park, and the A236 through Mitcham. We also bring cars out of the retail parks and supermarket car parks at Colliers Wood and Mitcham, and from the residential streets of Wimbledon, South Wimbledon and Pollards Hill.
What we do in Merton
Car recovery in Merton: your questions
Do you cover all of Merton?
Yes. We recover cars from every street in Merton, including Wimbledon, Mitcham, Morden, Colliers Wood and Raynes Park, across the CR4, SM4, SW19 and SW20 postcode districts, 24 hours a day.
How long will it take you to reach me in Merton?
When you call, we give you an arrival time based on where our nearest truck is and the traffic on roads such as the A24 and Kingston Bypass (A3). If that changes on the way, we ring you.
Can you recover an electric car in Merton?
Yes. Electric and hybrid cars travel on our flatbed with all four wheels off the road, as their manufacturers require. If it has simply run out of charge, we can take it to a charger, to your home or to a garage.
Where can you take my car from Merton?
Wherever you need it: a garage in Merton, your home anywhere in London, a main dealer, your insurer’s repairer, or anywhere in mainland Britain. You can usually travel with us in the cab.
