How much does car recovery cost in London?
Every job gets one fixed price, agreed on the phone before we set off. It depends on the distance, your car and where it is, so we work it out when you call. The price we agree is the price you pay.
What sets the price
No two recoveries are the same, so we price each one when you call. These are the things we ask about.
- How far we travel
- From our nearest truck to your car, then on to wherever it’s going. On a long journey, the miles are most of the price.
- Your car’s condition
- A car that rolls and steers loads in minutes. Locked wheels, missing keys or crash damage mean skates and winching, which take longer.
- Where it is
- A driveway is simple. An underground car park, a mews or a motorway hard shoulder can need extra time or equipment.
- Tolls and charges
- The Congestion Charge, the Dartford Crossing, the Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels and other tolls on the route are included when the job needs them.
- Urgent or planned
- A move booked a few days ahead can be fitted around other jobs, so it usually costs less than an emergency call-out.
