Not every car move is an emergency. Sometimes a car simply needs to get from one place to another without being driven: it’s untaxed, it hasn’t got an MOT, it’s a non-runner, it’s too far to drive, or you’d just rather not. Book a day and a time, and we’ll collect it and deliver it on our flatbed.
Moves we’re asked for
- Auction collections from sites in and around London, and further afield
- Private sales, collecting from the seller once you’ve paid, or delivering to your buyer
- Garage, MOT and bodyshop runs, including to a specialist on the other side of London
- Dealer transfers between showrooms, or to and from a preparation centre
- House moves, taking a second car to your new home on the same day as the removal van
- Storage, taking a car in for the winter, or bringing it back out
How to book
Use the quote form on our contact page, send us a WhatsApp, or call. We’ll need:
- The car’s make, model and registration
- Whether it drives, and if not, whether the wheels turn and the steering is free
- The collection and delivery addresses
- The day you’d like, and any time windows at either end
- Who’ll be at each end to hand over or receive the keys
We’ll come back to you with one fixed price and a collection time.
Can it drive itself?
Cars without tax or a current MOT, and cars declared off the road (SORN), generally can’t be driven on public roads, apart from a few narrow exceptions such as driving to a pre-booked MOT test. Carrying the car on a truck avoids the question altogether. See non-runners and cars without keys.
Further afield
We move cars anywhere in mainland England, Scotland and Wales, and you can usually ride along. See long-distance car recovery for typical journeys.
