Car recovery in Croydon
Breakdown, accident and non-runner recovery for cars across Croydon, from Purley and Thornton Heath to Norbury and South Norwood. Every car goes on a flatbed, at a price agreed on the phone before we set off.
Recovering cars in Croydon
Croydon is south London’s biggest town centre, and the Purley Way is lined with retail parks and superstores from Waddon down towards Purley. That means plenty of car park recoveries, and cars that won’t restart after a long shop. The Fiveways junction, where the A23 meets the A232, and the Croydon flyover are the places where a breakdown causes the most trouble.
We also cover the Brighton Road down through Purley and Coulsdon towards the M23 and M25, the A22 at Kenley, and residential streets from Thornton Heath and Norbury to New Addington, Selsdon and Sanderstead. Many of Croydon’s hillside roads are steep, so tell us if your car is parked on a slope: we use the winch, so it never has to be pushed.
What we do in Croydon
Car recovery in Croydon: your questions
Do you cover all of Croydon?
Yes. We recover cars from every street in Croydon, including Purley, Thornton Heath, Norbury, South Norwood and Addiscombe, across the CR0, CR2, CR5, CR7, CR8 and SE25 postcode districts, 24 hours a day.
How long will it take you to reach me in Croydon?
When you call, we give you an arrival time based on where our nearest truck is and the traffic on roads such as the Purley Way (A23) and A232. If that changes on the way, we ring you.
Can you recover an electric car in Croydon?
Yes. Electric and hybrid cars travel on our flatbed with all four wheels off the road, as their manufacturers require. If it has simply run out of charge, we can take it to a charger, to your home or to a garage.
Where can you take my car from Croydon?
Wherever you need it: a garage in Croydon, your home anywhere in London, a main dealer, your insurer’s repairer, or anywhere in mainland Britain. You can usually travel with us in the cab.
