Car recovery in Westminster
Breakdown, accident and non-runner recovery for cars across Westminster, from Mayfair and Soho to Marylebone and Paddington. Every car goes on a flatbed, at a price agreed on the phone before we set off.
Recovering cars in Westminster
Westminster is inside the Congestion Charge zone, and has more red routes, bus lanes and loading restrictions than anywhere else in London. Stopping a recovery truck safely in Mayfair, Soho or around Victoria takes planning, and some streets, such as much of Oxford Street, are closed to private traffic during the day. The charge for our truck is included in your price.
The West End’s underground car parks, beneath Park Lane, Marble Arch, hotels and theatres, have low entrances and tight ramps. We bring cars up to street level with skates and a winch before loading. We also recover cars from the mansion block garages of St John’s Wood and Maida Vale, and from the A40 Westway and Marylebone Road.
What we do in Westminster
Car recovery in Westminster: your questions
Do you cover all of Westminster?
Yes. We recover cars from every street in Westminster, including Mayfair, Soho, Marylebone, Paddington and Pimlico, across the NW1, NW8, SW1, W1, W2, W9 and WC2 postcode districts, 24 hours a day.
How long will it take you to reach me in Westminster?
When you call, we give you an arrival time based on where our nearest truck is and the traffic on roads such as the Westway (A40) and Marylebone Road (A501). If that changes on the way, we ring you.
Can you recover an electric car in Westminster?
Yes. Electric and hybrid cars travel on our flatbed with all four wheels off the road, as their manufacturers require. If it has simply run out of charge, we can take it to a charger, to your home or to a garage.
Where can you take my car from Westminster?
Wherever you need it: a garage in Westminster, your home anywhere in London, a main dealer, your insurer’s repairer, or anywhere in mainland Britain. You can usually travel with us in the cab.
